Job description

Join a talented and diverse group of analysts driving strategy and innovation across Chase Consumer Bank using data-driven approaches. You will help shape how we measure impact, learn quickly, and optimize investment by translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.

As a Data Science Senior Associate at JPMorganChase within Consumer Bank Marketing Analytics, you will own measurement and testing for Chase First Banking marketing campaigns. You will partner closely with stakeholders to design experiments, evaluate performance, and deliver recommendations that strengthen long-term customer relationships and improve retention-while contributing to an inclusive and collaborative team culture.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead analytics strategy, planning, and execution for Chase First Banking marketing campaigns
  • Deliver regular campaign performance measurement and reporting
  • Conduct unstructured, ad hoc analyses of customer behavior and engagement
  • Execute A/B and incrementality test readouts, including interpretation and recommendations
  • Perform profitability, optimization, and return-on-investment analyses to inform investment decisions
  • Consult on experimental design and data collection, developing new measurement approaches with stakeholders and partner teams
  • Translate results into clear narratives and present insights to stakeholders and senior management
  • Contribute to innovation initiatives that advance analytics methods and scalability
  • Collaborate across Marketing Analytics and Test Design teams while supporting an inclusive team environment
  • Maintain a rigorous controls environment to ensure accurate, timely, and reproducible results

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Data Science/Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related field)
  • 3+ years of experience applying statistical methods to real-world business problems
  • 3+ years of experience using SQL and at least one of the following: SAS, Python, or R
  • Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar) to accelerate analysis and code development
  • Experience using data visualization techniques for analysis and stakeholder-ready storytelling
  • Hands-on experience with A/B and incrementality testing methodologies, including experimental design, significance evaluation, and translating results into business recommendations
  • Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe/Omniture Insight/Visual Sciences, Webtrends, CoreMetrics, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with experience communicating effectively across levels and partner groups
  • Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Data Science/Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related field)
