Job description

What you’ll need to succeed as an Associate Analyst, Workforce Analytics at XPO

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Human Resources, Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development or a related field
  • 1 year of applicable analytics, reporting, HR, workforce planning, internship, co-op, academic project, or related experience
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience creating reports and dashboards using data from enterprise systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2+ years of workforce analytics, HR analytics, business analytics, or reporting experience
  • Experience reporting HR data from an HRIS (e.g., SuccessFactors, Workday, PeopleSoft)
  • Experience creating dashboards, scorecards and executive-ready presentations
  • Familiarity with analytics and automation tools such as KNIME, Alteryx, Microsoft Fabric, SQL, Power Query, Power Automate or AI-enabled technologies
  • Experience with employee survey administration, reporting and analysis
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships with HR and business stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate data into actionable business insights

  • Partner with HR leaders and business stakeholders to answer key workforce questions and provide actionable insights
  • Create visualizations, presentations and reporting solutions that communicate workforce trends clearly and effectively
  • Develop workflows and tools that connect workforce data across multiple systems and improve reporting efficiency
  • Respond to time-sensitive requests while ensuring data accuracy, quality and consistency
  • Support employee survey reporting, workforce research and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Help identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI to improve workforce analytics processes and products
