Job description

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Administers the financial programs and activities for the business. Performs financial and business analysis in working with all management and department heads at the plant, division, and corporate levels. Prepares annual budget, monthly/quarterly rolling forecast, and month-end analysis. Additionally, the individual will perform financial analysis and provide decision support to assist management with driving increased performance to ensure financial success.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide Support for Month End Reporting and variance analysis
  • Assist in preparing the annual budget and monthly forecasts
  • Prepare periodic financial reports and ad hoc analysis to support leadership
  • Develop and implement new reporting tools to business demands
  • Participate in strategic initiatives including financial software implementations
  • Participate in strategic financial projects including various financial software implementations
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of existing processes and propose improvements
  • Travel may be required periodically to support operations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3-5 years' finance and accounting experience – preferably in an FP&A role
  • Experience leading/managing projects highly desired
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working with multiple systems a plus
  • Experience with BI systems a plus
  • Strong proficiency in financial analysis Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
  • Detail oriented with strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement
  • Team-oriented with ability to interact with all levels of employees in a professional and positive manner
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Project management skills, organized, ability to multitask with careful attention to detail
