As a Field Service Representative and key member of the Central Regional service team, you provide on-site service at customer sites, including preventive maintenance, calibration, installation, and training across all product lines.
You will report to the Central Region Service Manager in Vernon Hills, IL. This position will be based out of or near Des Moines, IA. The base salary range for this position is $30.80 - $34.85 per hour and depends on technical and service experience within the analytical instrumentation field. Anton Paar USA offers full benefits and a profit-sharing contribution to your 401k retirement savings. We offer a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years plus additional bonus opportunities.

Job Description

Your responsibilities include:

  • Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of instruments at customer sites within the assigned region.
  • Managing inventory, trip planning, and administrative tasks related to service functions.
  • Travel (up to 90%, including overnight) for service and maintenance.
Qualifications

Skills and qualifications you will need:

  • 2 years experience in troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining complex analytical instruments.
  • Ability to work independently and with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work with electronic schematics, test equipment, and repair tools.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
  • Associate's degree in engineering or related technical field.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record and passport.
