ABOUT THE ROLE

Sales Account Manager is responsible for sales and support of all Validation hardware and software products for the Life Science market, in particular customers in Pharmaceutical and Biotech segments.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Responsible for driving sales growth in the defined territory and achieving assigned sales targets.
  • Builds and executes Territory Orders /Sales Plan geared towards driving market growth and penetration of Pharmaceutical and Biotech accounts.
  • Develops technical and market expertise on all Kaye products and applications using this knowledge to provide pre and post consultative sales support for key accounts.
  • Visits and develops close working relationship with existing customer base as well as drives to identify and develop new customers.
  • Regularly visits key accounts to update them on products and drive deeper account penetration.
  • Maintains accurate territory orders forecasts and customer database
  • Prepares & conducts sales presentations, and assists in organizing and execution of regional Seminars, workshops, and product launches.
  • Demonstrates technical equipment, providing customers with technical pre-sales support.
  • Recommends objectives & action plans for the territory, geared towards improving market share and account penetration in assigned territory.
  • Develops strong relationships with customers, gaining in-depth knowledge of customer needs.
  • Recommends and participates in trade shows and local industry associations.
  • Provides product management with market intelligence through observations of customer needs and competitive activities.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business or equivalent preferred.
  • 5 years sales experience, esp. in selling process or analytical instrumentation and or sensors into the Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Proven industrial technical understanding and expertise in instrumentation and validation.
  • External focus with strong ability to understand customer's business critical processes. Excellent Problem Solver and Change Agent; can do-attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, in particular sales presentation skills. Knowledge of customer base in the assigned region.
  • Expertise in winning complex deals, proven strong deal closing capabilities
