What We Need:

The Support Systems Analyst is an established performer that will provide technical support, troubleshoot system issues, and implement effective solutions. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in system enhancement projects, and ensure the smooth operation of our organization's critical systems. 

What You'll Do:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system issues reported by end-users by identifying the root cause and implementing appropriate solutions. 

  • Conduct regular system audits, performance monitoring, and capacity planning to ensure optimal system performance and identify potential areas for improvement. 

  • Support installations, PTF's, upgrades, patches, and failovers; support and configure independently.  

  • Develops disaster recovery and high availability plans.  

  • Analyze requirements, design, build, and test system components or amendments.  

  • Adhere to defined documentation and quality standards.  

  • Prepare for and support user acceptance testing. 

  • Understand client business and make recommendations and technology suggestions to solve problems and improve efficiency.  

  • Initiate follow-up actions to correct any problems or inefficiencies arising during execution of the Service Management Processes and highlight any issues or ideas of improvement to management. 

  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to support systems and make recommendations for system enhancements and process improvements. 

  • Perform other duties as needed.  

What You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.          

  • 2-4 years' relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.          

  • Strong knowledge of IBM Certified System. 

What You're Good At:

  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.  

  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. 

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. 

  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data. 

  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
