The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.
The Surety Programs Group (SPG) supports government and private sector management of complex safety, security, and reliability programs for high consequence operations. SPG delivers industry-leading, innovative, and value-added services such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention to help our clients understand and mitigate mission risks spanning physical, cyber, and human domains. SPG is hiring soon for a Program Analyst at SPA HQ in Alexandria, VA.
Responsibilities
The Program Analyst will support the development and execution of various efforts within Portfolio Acquisition Executive Strategic Systems Programs' Deterrence Technology Office. The Analyst will be responsible for conducting program analysis and planning for various topics and programs with a focus on classification management for current and future systems. The Analyst will gather and disseminate information, facilitate client engagements, develop and maintain planning tools, prepare classification management artifacts and presentations, and present results to stakeholders throughout the client organization. The Analyst will participate in regular on-site client engagements at the Washington Navy Yard.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Ability to work full-time at SPA HQ in Alexandria, with regular local travel to Washington Navy Yard.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • U.S. Citizen with current DoD SECRET Clearance.
  • DoD program or project management experience or 3+ years of experience with any of the following: DoD classification management or major acquisition programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute workload to meet requirements and deadlines across multiple projects.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with Navy submarine programs, Trident II (D5) Strategic Weapons System, and/or missile systems.
  • Experience with the defense acquisition system, classification management, technical program planning, and program protection.
  • Current DoD TOP SECRET clearance.
