JOB TITLE: Business Analyst JOB LOCATION: Springfield, MA/ hybrid WAGE RANGE*: 50 - 56/ hour Must be W2 JOB NUMBER: 37469555 JOB DESCRIPTION Formulate and define business and/or systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable industry requirements. Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering business and/or system limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Provide analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper business and/or system requirements. Guide and advise less-experienced Business Analysts. Competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of business and/or systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. Lead business analysis for complex Worksite initiatives, ensuring analysis aligns to business objectives, customer outcomes, and implementation priorities. Facilitate requirements elicitation, analysis, validation, prioritization, and traceability across assigned initiatives. Translate business needs into clear business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process impacts, business rules, and supporting analysis artifacts. Evaluate options, risks, dependencies, assumptions, tradeoffs, and impacts across people, process, technology, data, reporting, controls, and customer experience. Perform and document current-state and future-state process analysis, including roles, responsibilities, systems, handoffs, pain points, risks, and controls. Facilitate development of future-state operating models, business processes, service interactions, and implementation approaches. Lead or contribute to customer journeys, personas, service blueprints, value stream views, and customer experience maps for producers, plan administrators, and employees. Assess business readiness impacts across procedures, training, communications, reporting, systems, data, controls, and operational processes. Partner with business, operations, technology, product, compliance, project, and change partners to resolve ambiguity, drive alignment, and support successful execution. Partner with onshore and offshore business analysis resources to coordinate analysis activities, provide knowledge transfer, review artifacts, ensure quality deliverables, and drive project objectives. Use business data, operational metrics, customer insights, and stakeholder feedback to support recommendations and define or contribute to success measures. Evaluate opportunities to leverage AI, automation, digital capabilities, and process improvement to increase efficiency, accuracy, service quality, and customer experience.
