Job description

Financial Analyst, Investor Relations
Denver, CO
About YES
YES Communities, founded in 2008, owns and operates manufactured housing communities with locations across the United States. YES takes a new approach to manufactured home communities and works to build and maintain an environment in each community that reflects their positive YES attitude.
Life at YES
YES Communities strives to hire a diverse workforce that shares our vision. We empower our employees to develop a strong sense of community because we know that happy, dedicated employees make the difference. Our culture is one where leaders set clear expectations and give you the freedom to manage your goals. We invest in our employees and take pride as we watch them achieve results and make a difference in their roles every day.
Position Summary:
YES is seeking a Financial Analyst, Investor Relations to own reporting and communication with our institutional investors and lending partners, coordinating across teams to deliver accurate, timely, well-supported deliverables. Between reporting cycles, you'll support the annual budget process, forecasting, and financial modeling. This highly visible role reports to the FP&A Manager and suits someone analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the centralized point of contact for institutional investors and lending partners - own intake, prioritization, and delivery of all reporting requests.
  • Manage the recurring investor reporting cycle - calendars, monthly/quarterly deliverables, and ad hoc requests - coordinating across Finance, Business Intelligence, Accounting, Operations, and Asset Management to meet deadlines.
  • Reconcile investor-facing figures across data sources, identifying root causes and improving data quality at the source.
  • Prepare investor presentations, board materials, and reporting narratives that explain the story behind the numbers to external stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain financial models supporting budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze results, variances, and trends, translating operational drivers into clear, investor-ready narratives, and maintain relationships with institutional investors and lending partners, tracking inquiries and reporting history.
  • Drive continuous improvement by automating reporting and strengthening controls, and take on ad hoc analysis and special projects for the FP&A team and senior leadership.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years in investor relations, FP&A, corporate finance, or a comparable analytical role.
  • Demonstrated financial modeling experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, capital investments, or valuation.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, including reconciliations and executive-level presentations.
  • Experience with SQL or similar tools for large datasets; familiarity with Adaptive, Incorta, Power BI, or Tableau a plus.
  • Strong financial and accounting foundation and polished communicator across financial, senior, and external investor audiences.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, self-motivated, and comfortable owning deadline-driven, multi-function deliverables.
  • Experience supporting institutional investors, limited partners, or REIT/fund-level reporting strongly preferred; real estate or manufactured housing experience a plus.

COMPENSATION: $85,000 - $95,000 + 10% annual bonus opportunity
