As a Senior Data Analyst specializing in Data Governance and Data Lineage, you will support enterprise initiatives focused on managing the lifecycle, governance, and disposition of sensitive business data. Working with technical teams, business stakeholders, and data governance leaders, you'll analyze complex data ecosystems, document data lineage, identify system dependencies, and ensure data management practices align with regulatory and organizational standards.

This role is ideal for someone with strong SQL, metadata management, and data governance experience who enjoys solving complex data challenges while supporting enterprise modernization initiatives.

Your Day-to-Day Activities
  • Analyze enterprise applications to identify upstream and downstream data dependencies

  • Document data lineage, system interfaces, and data flow mappings across complex environments

  • Collaborate with business owners, technical teams, privacy specialists, and data stewards to support data governance initiatives

  • Evaluate system integrations and assess the impact of data retention, migration, and disposition activities

  • Utilize metadata management and data lineage tools to validate data movement and business rules

  • Support system retirement, migration, and data disposition planning efforts

  • Participate in architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and solution planning sessions

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation including lineage diagrams, interface inventories, and dependency mappings

  • Troubleshoot data integration and lineage issues while working closely with application support teams

  • Support compliance initiatives related to data privacy, governance, and regulatory requirements

  • Assist with data quality analysis and recommend improvements to enterprise data management processes

The Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
