Job description

Willcox Savage, a law firm with approximately 65 attorneys located in Norfolk, Virginia, seeks an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant.
Responsibilities
  • Assist attorneys with all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents
  • Manage case files and maintain document databases
  • Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and other meetings
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
  • Perform legal research and analysis
  • Assist with trial preparation
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant in a litigation practice
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Location amp; Schedule
  • This position is on-site in our Norfolk, Virginia, office. Some overtime may be required based on caseload and deadlines.
