Job Overview
We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer Design 2 to join the Analog Electrical Engineering team in Woodland Hills, CA. This role focuses on analog circuit design and analysis supporting the development of advanced electronic systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in analog circuit design, simulation, and PCB-level analysis, along with hands-on testing and troubleshooting skills.
Key Responsibilities
Perform analog circuit design and analysis for new product development
Conduct system-level requirements analysis and subsystem-level design development
Evaluate circuits through design verification and characterization
Perform circuit modeling, simulation, and testing
Conduct signal and power integrity analysis on PCB designs
Research, develop, design, and test electrical components, systems, and networks
Design electronic equipment and systems for military applications
Support troubleshooting and validation at subsystem and circuit levels
Basic Qualifications
Strong understanding of operational amplifier circuit topologies and behavior
5 to 10 years of work experience required
Ability to identify key device characteristics and optimize parameters based on requirements
Experience designing signal conditioning and filtering circuits
Hands-on experience with analog circuit design, modeling, and simulation (Cadence PSpice or LTspice)
Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Cadence Allegro, Mentor Xpedition, or Altium Designer)
Experience in circuit-level testing and troubleshooting
Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, waveform generators, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, and power supplies
Preferred Qualifications
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (a postgraduate degree) with emphasis in analog circuit design
Experience with Cadence Allegro PCB Designer
Knowledge of HyperLynx for signal and power integrity analysis
Advanced experience with PSpice simulation and analysis
Experience in design verification and testing
EMI/EMC troubleshooting and mitigation experience
