Job Title: Product Development – HW Analog / Analog Circuit Design II

Duration: 12 Month Contract (possible extensions)

Location: Austin, TX 78746

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

 

Position Summary

We are seeking a Product Dev - HW Analog - Analog Design/Circuit Design II to join our Analog/Mixed-Signal Design team. The role focuses on designing and developing high-performance analog power management circuits for semiconductor products, delivering robust, low-power, and area-efficient solutions, and ensuring successful validation and silicon bring-up across the product lifecycle. This position is 100% onsite. Laptop provided. MRUNDA REQUIRED.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Design and develop analog/mixed-signal circuits including LDOs, charge pumps, voltage detectors, and related power management IP.

·         Perform transistor-level design, simulation, and optimization across PVT corners to meet performance, power, and reliability requirements.

·         Execute pre-layout and post-layout verification, including stability, noise, PSRR, transient, and corner analyses.

·         Collaborate with layout, verification, and product engineering teams to ensure successful tapeout and silicon validation.

·         Support silicon bring-up, characterization, debug, and correlation of simulation results with measured silicon data.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

·         Strong expertise in analog and mixed-signal circuit design fundamentals.

·         Experience with EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, and related simulation environments.

·         Solid understanding of CMOS device physics, analog design tradeoffs, and low-power circuit techniques.

·         Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

·         Ability to work independently and drive design from specification through silicon validation.

Preferred Skills:

·         Experience designing LDOs, charge pumps, voltage detectors, bandgap references, and power-on reset circuits.

·         Understanding of loop stability, compensation techniques, PSRR, line/load regulation, and transient response.

·         Experience with silicon characterization, debug, and production support.

·         Familiarity with advanced CMOS process technologies and reliability considerations.

·         Exposure to AI-assisted design optimization or analog design automation techniques.

Education & Experience:

·         Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.

·         Master's degree preferred.

·         Experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design within the semiconductor industry preferred.

·         Track record of successful silicon bring-up and product development is a plus.
