Job description

Overview
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising housekeeping employees and overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct multiple physical inspections of hotel rooms, suites, guest common areas and employee areas
  • Supervise housekeeping employees
  • Assist hotel guest with inquires and or problem resolution
  • Assign work to Room Attendants and train associates in housekeeping duties; may perform cleaning duties
  • Write requisitions for room supplies and furniture renovation or replacements
  • Examine carpets, drapes and furniture for stains, damage, or wear

Qualifications
  • Prior industry experience
  • Minimum age is 21
  • Able to obtain licenses required by state law
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Effective communication skills
  • Available to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
