Location: Laugun's Adventure Park

Department: Recreation & Attractions

Status: Seasonal

Pay Rate: $14

Hours/Days: Monday - Sunday. Morning Shift: 9:30 AM - 4 PM. Evening Shift: 3:30 PM - 10:30 PM


High school or greater education level. 1+ years of experience in Customer Service. Communication skills, accountability.


  1. Summary of the main function/purpose of the position:

This position supports daily Laguna Park operations by ensuring guest safety, regulatory compliance, and service excellence. Employees are accountable for operating attractions in compliance with Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services amusement ride standards, internal SOPs, and insurer safety requirements.


  1. Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service while assisting guests with attraction access, equipment, and instructions.
  • Sell day passes and packages and ensure guests are properly checked in and charged.
  • Clearly explain attraction rules, safety requirements, and participation guidelines.

Safety & Compliance:

  • Operate attractions in accordance with Florida amusement ride regulations, manufacturer requirements, and company SOPs.
  • Conduct and document required daily inspections and safety checklists before and during operations.
  • Properly fit and secure guests with harnesses, seatbelts, and safety equipment.
  • Deliver required safety briefings for attractions, including go-karts and adventure courses.
  • Monitor attractions continuously and immediately stop operations if unsafe conditions are observed.
  • Enforce guest compliance with safety rules and waiver requirements.

Operations & Maintenance:

  • Maintain the cleanliness of attraction areas and equipment.
  • Assist with the set-up and breakdown of Adventure Zone equipment and rentals.
  • Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly to management.
  • Maintain accurate logs related to inspections, equipment use, and incidents.

Age-Restricted Duties:

  • Certain duties (including go-kart operations, emergency response, accident assistance, and equipment maintenance) may only be performed by employees 18 years of age or older, in accordance with Florida law and insurance requirements.

Occasional duties or projects which may be performed at irregular intervals:

  • Support special events, birthday parties, and ancillary services as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.


III. Core Accountabilities:

Safety & Risk Control

  • Complete and document all required daily attraction inspections.
  • Enforce ride rules, safety briefings, and waiver compliance.
  • Exercise authority to suspend operations when safety risks are identified.
  • Assist with incident response and documentation (18+ only)

Operational Controls

  • Proper equipment fitting, maintenance checks, and log completion.
  • Accurate ticketing, charging, and rental documentation.
  • Maintain attraction readiness, cleanliness, and compliance.

Guest & Brand Standards

  • Deliver consistent, professional guest interactions aligned with company culture.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Customer service experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic computer and POS skills
  1. Preferred Certifications/Licenses (or ability to obtain after hire):

  • CPR / First Aid / AED
  • Valid Florida Driving License
  • Attraction-specific certifications (training provided)

VII: Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), and work at heights.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in hot, humid, and changing weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely operate equipment and perform physical tasks essential to attraction operations.
