Job description

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Mechanic to help operate, service, inspect, and maintain some of the tallest and most exciting amusement rides in the world located in Daytona.

About the Role: You will play a key role in keeping our rides and equipment operating safely and reliably. The position involves troubleshooting and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems. We’re looking for someone who can quickly absorb routine procedures—like operating, daily inspections—and perform them consistently with attention to detail.

We are members of The Drug Free Workplace program and expect all employees to work in a safe manner at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

· Inspect, maintain, and repair amusement ride components

· Troubleshoot and service mechanical and electrical systems

· Assist with the installation of new ride and facility equipment

· Perform scheduled preventive maintenance

· Work safely at heights and in outdoor conditions

· Follow detailed procedures and respond calmly in emergencies

· Communicate clearly and follow technical directions precisely

· Safely operate the rides by IROC guidelines

Requirements:

· Hands-on mechanical experience

· Basic to intermediate electrical knowledge (preferred and valued)

· Comfortable working at heights (200’+)

· Ability to retain and consistently follow daily inspection routines

· Familiarity with hydraulic components (training provided if needed)

· Calm, team-oriented, and dependable

· Successful completion of the IROC Training for safe ride operation
