Job description

We Are

Synopsys is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow.

You Are

You have spent years living in the world of analog and mixed-signal design, close enough to the technology to understand why a noise floor matters and why a customer will choose one simulator over another based on convergence behavior in a specific corner case. Strategy without technical grounding feels hollow to you. You think in roadmaps that span years, not quarters, because you know that the decisions you make today about architecture, packaging, or ecosystem partnerships will define whether a product line leads or follows three years from now.

The feature request that is actually a workflow problem. The competitive mention that signals a gap in your positioning. You translate those insights into product decisions that R&D can build and sales can sell, and you do it without losing the thread of the larger business story.

You have owned a P&L or been accountable for revenue growth, and you understand that product management is not just about building the right thing but also about making sure it gets adopted, priced correctly, and positioned to win. At Synopsys, you will lead the AMS portfolio for a company that defines what is possible in semiconductor design.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own the multi-year product strategy and roadmap for Synopsys' Analog and Mixed-Signal EDA portfolio, defining where we invest, what we build, and how we differentiate in the market
  • Engage directly with key accounts to understand analog, custom digital, and memory design workflows, translating customer pain points and emerging trends into prioritized product requirements
  • Drive business performance by tracking revenue, bookings, and adoption metrics, and partnering with sales leadership to train field teams and accelerate customer wins
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across R&D, sales, marketing, and field engineering to ensure successful product launches, customer adoption, and ecosystem development
  • Define messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for AMS products, including demand generation campaigns, thought leadership content, and customer-facing value propositions
  • Shape pricing, packaging, and business models that maximize customer value and long-term revenue growth across the AMS product lifecycle
  • Serve as the external face of the AMS portfolio, presenting at customer events, industry conferences, and executive briefings to establish Synopsys as the leader in analog and mixed-signal design

The Impact You Will Have

  • You will define the direction of a product portfolio that powers analog and mixed-signal design for the most advanced chips in automotive, mobile, IoT, and high-performance computing
  • Your roadmap decisions will determine where Synopsys invests R&D resources and which customer problems we solve first, directly shaping the competitive position of the AMS business
  • The go-to-market strategies you build will enable the field to win competitive deals and expand adoption across new accounts and design teams
  • Your voice-of-customer work will surface insights that influence not just product features but also how we package, price, and position the entire AMS portfolio
  • You will accelerate revenue growth by aligning product capabilities with market demand and ensuring customers see clear, measurable value from Synopsys AMS tools
  • The messaging and positioning you create will define how the market understands Synopsys' differentiation in analog design, simulation, and signoff workflows
  • Your leadership will set the standard for product excellence across the organization, influencing how other product teams think about strategy, customer engagement, and business outcomes

What You'll Need

  • 15+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or technical leadership roles within EDA or semiconductor industries
  • Deep hands-on experience with analog, mixed-signal, memory, or custom digital design and verification workflows
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; advanced degree is a strong plus
  • Proven track record of launching, growing, and managing products with measurable business impact, including revenue growth and market share gains
  • Experience owning or contributing to P&L, pricing strategy, or business planning for a product line or portfolio
  • Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical and business concepts to executives, customers, and cross-functional teams, both in writing and in presentations
  • Comfort working in a global, matrix environment where influence and alignment matter as much as authority

Who You Are

  • You can sit in a design review with a senior analog engineer and understand the technical tradeoffs well enough to ask the question that changes the roadmap
  • You push back when a feature request does not align with strategy or when a go-to-market plan is too vague to drive real adoption
  • You are comfortable presenting to a room of VPs, walking them through a three-year roadmap and defending your prioritization decisions with data and customer insight
  • You do not wait for perfect information. You synthesize what you have, identify the gaps that matter, and move forward with clarity and confidence
  • You build trust across R&D, sales, and field teams by showing up prepared, following through on commitments, and making decisions that balance customer needs with business reality
  • You think like a general manager. You care about revenue, competitive positioning, customer satisfaction, and long-term product health, not just feature delivery

The Team You'll Be Part Of

You will be part of the EDA Group, the world's leading provider of solutions for designing and verifying advanced silicon chips. The team builds high-performance tools that help customers optimize chips for power, cost, and performance, eliminating months from project schedules. Your recruiter will share more about the team structure and mission during the interview process.

Rewards and Benefits

We offer a comprehensive range of health, wellness, and financial benefits to cater to your needs. Our total rewards include both monetary and non-monetary offerings. Your recruiter will provide more details about the salary range and benefits during the hiring process.

The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
