Job description

AMS Mechanical Services of Indianapolis LLC. is currently looking to add a Commercial/Industrial HVAC Sevice Manager to our growing service team. This is a full-time position between the office and various client sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the control and management of multiple technicians at any given time (multitasking) and is primarily responsible for the safe, timely and profitable completion of HVAC service-related work.

Responsibilities:

· Manage HVAC maintenance and service teams to ensure quality onsite.

· Provide technical support for HVAC technicians.

· Understand the sales criteria and hold the team accountable for exceeding revenue goals.

· Reviews technicians' work to ensure quality meets standards.

· Organize training and ongoing support for installation teams.

· Recruits, interviews, hires and trains HVAC technicians as required to meet workload demands.


QUALIFICATIONS:

· Strong communication, writing and customer service skills.

· Must be able to work in the field along with the rest of the team.

· Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.

· Reliable and self-motivated.

· Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.

· 5+ years of HVAC technical experience, 2 years of supervisory experience.

· Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn various HVAC related software.

· Must have a valid driver’s license.
