Job description

Financial Representative
Full-Time | Remote in the United States
About Amplify
Amplify is transforming how families build wealth through life insurance. We are the first direct-to-consumer platform focused on helping clients leverage life insurance as both a protection and wealth-building vehicle. Through innovative technology and expert guidance, we make sophisticated financial strategies accessible, understandable, and actionable.
Our mission is simple: create value for our customers while they are alive and well. We believe life insurance should do more than provide a death benefit-it should help families grow, protect, and access wealth throughout their lives.
Backed by leading venture capital firms, Amplify is modernizing the life insurance industry and building the future of financial protection and wealth accumulation.
About the Role
As a Financial Representative, you will serve as a trusted advisor to individuals and families seeking life insurance and wealth-building solutions. You will engage with qualified leads provided by Amplify, conduct consultative sales conversations, and guide clients through the entire sales process from initial discovery through policy delivery and activation.
Unlike traditional insurance sales roles, you will not be responsible for prospecting or purchasing leads. Amplify provides a pipeline of qualified inbound opportunities, allowing you to focus on what you do best: educating clients, building relationships, and helping customers make informed financial decisions.
You will develop and manage your own book of business, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the client journey. From needs analysis and policy design to policy delivery, you will own the client relationship and drive successful outcomes.
This role is ideal for highly motivated sales professionals who thrive in a performance-driven environment, enjoy helping clients achieve their financial goals, and are excited about combining technology, finance, and relationship-based selling.
What You'll Do
Client Acquisition & Sales
  • Engage qualified inbound leads provided by Amplify through outbound calls, SMS, and email communications.
  • Conduct consultative discovery conversations to understand each client's financial goals, family needs, risk tolerance, and wealth objectives.
  • Educate clients on life insurance concepts, including term life insurance, Indexed Universal Life (IUL), and Final Expense (FE) solutions.
  • Present personalized recommendations and illustrate how proposed solutions align with client objectives.
  • Guide clients through the application process and gather all required information and documentation.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed individual sales and production goals.
Book of Business Management
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned clients throughout the sales and delivery process.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients as they progress through underwriting and policy delivery.
  • Proactively manage client expectations and ensure a high-quality customer experience.
  • Coordinate with case managers to address client questions and facilitate timely policy approval and delivery.
Policy Delivery & Client Retention
  • Conduct policy delivery appointments and review policy details with clients.
  • Ensure clients understand their policy structure, benefits, premium commitments, and long-term objectives.
  • Confirm successful policy delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for additional coverage, policy optimization, or future planning discussions.
  • Foster long-term client relationships that drive retention and referrals.
Collaboration & Professional Development
  • Partner with case managers, operations teams, and leadership to improve client outcomes.
  • Participate actively in sales coaching, training sessions, and team meetings.
  • Maintain required insurance licensing and continuing education requirements.
  • Contribute feedback to improve sales processes, customer experience, and platform enhancements.
Compliance and Documentation
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable insurance regulations
  • Follow company compliance, privacy, and data security policies
  • Accurately document all client interaction in the CRM
  • Ensure all disclosures and policy illustrations are presented in accordance with carrier and regulatory requirements
  • Protect confidential client information
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Active Life Insurance License in at least one U.S. state. Must maintain all licenses, appointments, and continuing education requirements necessary to conduct business in assigned jurisdictions.
  • 2+ years of consultative sales experience, preferably in life insurance, financial services, or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated success in a commission-driven sales environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience conducting sales conversations via phone and virtual meetings.
  • Ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Experience utilizing CRM systems, sales technology, and productivity tools.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active Life and Health Insurance licenses
  • Experience with permanent life insurance products, including Indexed Universal Life (IUL).
  • Familiarity with financial planning, retirement planning, and tax-advantaged wealth accumulation strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Experience managing a book of business or ongoing client relationships.
Compensation
This position is designed as an exempt role and is compensated through a combination of base salary and commissions. This position is intended to qualify for applicable sales-related exemptions under federal and state law where permitted. Compensation and classification may be modified as required to comply with state-specific wage and hour requirements.
  • Base salary is subject to adjustment as needed to comply with applicable state and local wage and hour requirements.
  • Financial Representatives are eligible to earn substantial commission income through policy placements and client conversions.
  • The compensation structure is designed such that the majority of earnings are expected to be derived from commissions.

Remote Work Requirements
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection
  • Dedicated professional workspace free from distractions
  • Ability to participate in video meetings
  • Compliance with company technology and security requirements

Financial Representatives are expected to spend the majority of their working time engaged in sales activities, including client consultations, needs analysis, product recommendations, policy placement, policy delivery, and other revenue-generating customer interactions. This position requires availability during designated business hours and may require occasional evenings and weekend appointments to accommodate client schedules.
Amplify offers:
  • Competitive base salary
  • Uncapped commission opportunity
  • Exclusive inbound leads
  • Comprehensive training and coaching
  • Fully remote work environment

  • Inbound lead model
  • Venture-backed growth company
  • Proprietary technology platform
