Branches AmeriCorps Member (1200 Hours)
AmeriCorps Members are individuals who serve in an approved national service position and are eligible, upon completion of service hours, to receive an educational award from the National Service Trust. AmeriCorps members bring a unique passion and commitment to service and to transforming lives of people and communities. At Branches, in partnership with Volunteer Florida, Inc., members serve in Grow & Climb and deliver learning and enrichment opportunities that accelerate academic recovery and potential and advance post-secondary readiness and success to K-12 students in afterschool and summer settings.
Member Duties : Branches AmeriCorps Members will build deep, meaningful relationships with participants and team members; encourage positive behaviors and choices; and support the delivery of learning and enrichment opportunities for K-12 students in afterschool and summer settings.
Program Benefits : Stipend , Childcare assistance if eligible , Living Allowance , Health Coverage , Education award upon successful completion of service , Training .
