Job description

As am AmeriCorps Community Resource Navigator, you will serve as a trusted link between community members and critical services such as housing stability, food access, healthcare, transportation, and more.  You will serve hands on with individuals and community partners to reduce barriers and help families move toward long term stability.
This position requires an individual to be bi-lingual (English/Spanish) -- you will be serving with Casa Guadalupe's Older Adult Active Center.
Position starts September 2026 - service term approximately 9 months.

Responsibilities
  • 1:1 meetings with older adults to assess need, goal planning, referral to resources, and follow up.
  • Event planning.
  • Front desk support.
  • Recruitment of senior companions.
  • Assisting with programming.
  • Each CRN will develop a hub specific project to benefit the location.
This partnership aligns with the UWGLV mission to empower older adults and foster a connected, compassionate community. 
Requirements
Willing to serve full time for a modest living allowance of $24k and education award.
