    Position Summary:

    The Refrigeration Mechanic will be responsible for repairing, installing and troubleshooting the refrigeration systems at the plant. This role may also work on the industrial climate control systems, such as HVAC units, ice machines, refrigerated storage units, etc. The Refrigeration Mechanic will also perform preventative maintenance in order to avoid future problems or breakdowns.

    What you will Do:

    Schedule: 6AM - 3:30PM Mon - FRI on call on weekends

    ●Install and maintain climate-control systems.

    ●Repair and upgrade refrigeration systems.

    ●Diagnosing problems to existing systems

    ●Perform repairs to existing equipment.

    ●Troubleshoot, replace parts, run tests to ensure the systems are working properly following repairs.

    ●Perform upgrades to satisfy new regulations or meet new standards.

    ●Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

    ●Strong understanding of refrigeration systems.

    ●Strong understanding of electrical and plumbing concepts.

    ●Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.

    ●Operating tools, gauges, and other testing equipment for refrigeration systems.

    ●Perform other duties as assigned.

    ●Must have ARO/CRT certificate

    ●Ammonia Refrigeration Operator Experience

    ●EPA certified

    ●Commercial HVAC experience preferable in a manufacturing plant setting

    ●Knowing Glycol system is a plus

    ●Knowing LEM Direct Logic is a plus

    Minimum Qualifications:

    ●Ability to read, write and speak English; comprehension of basic m

    ●Willingness and flexibility to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced, 24 hour plant environment.

    ●Basic computer skills and ability to multitask in a plant environment.

    ●Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

    ●Ability to lift, carry equipment up to 100 pounds.

    ●Ability to stand, kneel or stoop for long periods of time.
