Job description

American Refrigeration Supplies, Inc. is a wholesale distributor of A/C and heating equipment, accessories and supplies and has been serving our customers for 85 years. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Warehouse Driver to join our team at our Las Vegas Branch. This position is full-time Monday - Friday (typically 8:00 am - 5:00 pm)

About the position:

As a Warehouse Driver you will be responsible forย providing excellent service within ARS Warehouse ensuring work is completed in a timely manner meeting the ARS Workflow to the best of your ability while maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor.

  • Deliver HVAC parts to customers; ensuring all items on truck
  • Follow supervisorsโ€™ directions to ensure following correct routes and delivery instructions
  • Complete daily Vehicle Maintenance Inspections
  • Verify vehicle has sufficient fuel, use gas card for fueling as needed
  • Assist in loading and unloading of all trucks
  • Report any order issues or shorts to Manager
  • Quality control onย allย items going out for delivery:
    • Inspection of all inventory ensuring accuracy of pick list
  • Ensure warehouse is in proper order (clean, debris picked up, forklifts in proper charging area etc.) before the end of each shift
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms and counter areas
  • Safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks (after training)
  • Follow the PWMโ€™s (Preferred Work Methods) for warehouse
  • Ensure all Safety Procedures followed
  • Wears proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Additional duties as assigned by Manager
  • A minimum of a High School Diploma is required.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years warehouse experience in a high-volume HVAC Wholesale environment is preferred.
  • Employee must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver's license
  • Clean Motor Vehicle/Driving Record
  • Must be able to communicate well with others.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Computer knowledge including MS Office applications.
  • Basic typing/10-key skills.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years old
