We are currently seeking a skilled Welder to join our fabrication and field installation team. The Welder will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing piping systems and structural components used in commercial HVAC and plumbing systems. The ideal candidate has experience working with various metals and welding methods in construction or mechanical environments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and Stick methods on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other materials
  • Fabricate and install piping systems for HVAC and plumbing applications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and shop drawings
  • Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to specifications
  • Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper operation
  • Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
  • Collaborate with project managers, pipefitters, and installers on job sites
  • Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and compliance standards

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 2โ€“3 years of welding experience, preferably in commercial HVAC or plumbing environments
  • Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings
  • Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and piping systems
  • Strong understanding of welding safety practices and OSHA standards
  • Ability to pass welding tests as required
  • Physically able to lift 50+ lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in varying conditions (shop and field)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Reliable transportation and valid driverโ€™s license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS (American Welding Society) certification or equivalent
  • Experience on commercial construction job sites
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems, piping layouts, and plumbing codes
  • Basic fabrication and layout skills
