Job Title: Painter - Paper Hanger
Employment Type: Full-Time 40 hours per week
Shift: Days
Location: Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital
As a Painter - Paper Hanger you will:
  • Paints and redecorates walls, woodwork, furniture, metal surfaces, fixtures and other items.
  • Scrapes, brushes or burns-off old paint and varnishes.
  • fills holes, cracks and openings with putty or other filler.
  • Mixes colors, oils and other paint ingredients to obtain proper color and consistency or thins ready-mixed paints.
  • Applies paints and finishes with brushes, rollers, spray equipment or rags.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school graduate and/or vocational training.
  • Proficiency in blending paints and use of scaffolding.
  • Minimum of five (5) year experience and currently working in the trade.
