Lead Generation & Community Marketing Responsibilities

Actively support the community's local and digital presence by participating in social media content creation, engagement, and lead generation as part of daily leasing responsibilities. This includes capturing photos and videos of the community, amenities, resident events, model homes, and lifestyle moments that showcase the property in a positive and on-brand way. Leasing Professionals are responsible for using social media efforts to help drive traffic, generate qualified leads, and create interest in the community through consistent posting, timely engagement, and authentic online interaction.

Responsibilities also include responding to comments and inquiries as directed, promoting specials, events, and availability, identifying content opportunities, and collaborating with management and the marketing team on campaigns and brand initiatives. Team members may be asked to appear in or assist with videos, tours, and other digital content that supports leasing goals.

Social media participation is considered a core function of the Leasing Professional role and is a measurable contributor to brand awareness, prospect engagement, lead generation, and overall leasing success.

Your "Day to Day" at American Landmark as a Leasing Agent:

  • Conduct apartment tours with prospective residents
  • Complete leasing agent documents and collect rental deposits
  • Responsible for ensuring the "model" apartments are ready to be shown
  • Understanding of lease terms, specifications, and all community policies
  • Knowledge of leasing agent sales and closing techniques
  • Knowledge of the current market
  • Knowledge of current pricing and amenities that your community has to offer
  • Maintain contact with all apartment locator services and local businesses to keep your community relevant and competitive
  • Shop local competitor communities
  • Develop full knowledge of application information required, screening processes and policies regarding rentals
  • Responsible for conducting out-reach marketing at least once per week
  • Develop and maintain an on-going resident retention program, encouraging current residents to renew their lease
  • Responsible for the organization of all resident and property files
  • Handle resident requests and complaints appropriately
  • Contribute towards the collection of delinquent rents

Qualifying Accomplishments of Leasing Agent:

  • A college degree is helpful but not required
  • Leasing experience also helps, but is not required
  • Knowledge of RealPage/LRO and One-Site preferred
  • Bi-lingual helps
