Job description

Salary: 19-24


Core Skills:

* Basic plant identification

* Basic materials ID/Use

* Basic planting methods

* Basic tool ID/Use

* Basic equipment ID/Use

Responsibilities:

* Load/unload truck and trailer under direction of Foreman

* Assist in all jobsite duties including construction, planting & moving materials

* Perform landscape maintenance work including weeding, edging, digging, planting & moving/spreading materials

* Maintain standards of cleanliness, organization & safety with assigned trucks, trailers, equipment and jobsites

* General lawn maintenance and seasonal lawn preparation (Spring/Fall clean-up)

* Hardscape construction for residential and commercial clients (digging holes and trenches, excavating for hardscaping features, and hauling or spreading topsoil, gravel, sand, mulch, or other materials)

* Apply landscaping products and treatments under the direction of a licensed commercial applicator.

* Work alongside crew members to ensure proper safety, quality, and productivity

* Ensure that all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner

* Operate power equipment including, but not limited to, masonry saw, skid steer & mini excavator

Experience/Requirements:

* High school diploma, GED or equivalent

* 1+ year of landscape experience (preferred)

* 1+ year general labor experience (preferred)

* Valid drivers license with <2 points (preferred)

* Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)


Physical Requirements:

  • Bending, sitting, standing, climbing, walking for 8+ hours per shift during peak season
  • Working in all seasons and a variety of weather conditions
  • Navigating a variety of terrains
  • Lifting, pushing &/or pulling up to 50 pounds
