Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, ICU – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:00) with block scheduling. Weekend coverage required (6 shifts per 6-week period). Patient ratio 1:2. 91-day assignment.

Highlights:
  • Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit with 16 beds and average daily census of 14 patients
  • Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and physical therapy
  • 12-hour orientation period with specialized equipment including CRRT (NXXT Stage)
  • Adult and geriatric patient population with diverse critical care diagnoses
  • Float based on schedule with one pre-approved time off period available
Requirements:
  • Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
  • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS; Preferred: NIHSS, PALS
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
  • Travel nursing experience required
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Experience with arterial line management, ventilator management, central line care, blood product administration, vasoactive drip titration, and BiPAP/CPAP management
  • Community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
  • Must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
