We create and curate celebrated series and films across distinct brands and make them available to audiences everywhere. Our portfolio includes targeted streaming services AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK and HIDIVE; cable networks AMC, BBC AMERICA, Independent Film Company, Sundance TV and We TV; and film distribution labels Independent Film Company and RLJE Films. The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business.
We are currently seeking a Vice President, Strategic Finance and Corp Dev to join our Strategic Finance & Treasury team based in our New York, NY offices.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead cross-functional deal teams through all stages of the M&A process, from due diligence, financial analysis and negotiation through deal close and post-close integration, with accountability for successful financial, strategic and integration outcome
  • Oversee team to build and maintain long-term consolidated company forecast model, make recommendations for required re-financing and scenario planning
  • Collaborate with the FP&A group for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the company
  • Conduct various ad-hoc financial analyses to drive key business decisions across the organization
  • Partner with the executive team on other corporate development initiatives including strategic investments and capital market transactions
  • Support debt covenant compliance activities (on a quarterly and annual basis) and tracking lender activities
  • Assist the executive team on Board level communications, including quarterly reporting packages and ad hoc analyses

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10-15 years of relevant work experience, ideally in Investment Banking
  • Exceptional problem-solving, business judgment, and analytical skills
  • Significant expertise with operating and financial modeling and valuation analysis
  • Strategic mindset with an ability to think broadly, refine questions and develop analytical frameworks
  • Ability to drive projects autonomously from planning to implementation, with limited oversight
  • Experience leading in all aspects of the M&A process, with progressively increasing responsibility and accountability for positive outcomes
  • Solid understanding of capital markets, cash flow modeling techniques, experience issuing/refinancing debt
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly verbal, visual and written, as well as attention to detail and focus on execution and results
  • A team player with the ability to establish credibility and work cross functionally with senior/executive management, to build strong internal networks and business relationships

The base compensation for this position is $200,000 - $250,000 commensurate with experience.
