Job description

AMC Marine is seeking a professional, customer-focused Marine Service Advisor to serve as the face of our service department. This role is critical to delivering a five-star customer experience during our busy boating season.


This is not a receptionist role. This is a high-responsibility position that requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to confidently manage customer relationships from intake through delivery.


What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all service customers
  • Greet walk-in customers and manage incoming service calls
  • Create and manage estimates / repair orders from intake to completion
  • Communicate diagnoses and repair recommendations clearly and professionally
  • Provide proactive status updates to customers
  • Set realistic expectations and deliver on commitments
  • Coordinate with technicians, parts, detailing, and transport teams
  • Ensure smooth delivery and billing process


What We’re Looking For

  • Ability to explain technical information in clear, simple terms
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through
  • Comfortable managing multiple open jobs simultaneously
  • Calm under pressure and confident in handling difficult conversations
