Responsibilities:
Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanic to support Albuquerque Ambulance Service by maintaining the safety, reliability, and readiness of its emergency vehicle fleet.
This role is essential to ensuring ambulances and support vehicles are fully operational for patient transport through routine maintenance, timely repairs, and adherence to preventive maintenance programs. If you are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and committed to continuous learning, professional development, and delivering service excellence in support of both clinical teams and the communities, you would be a great fit for the team!

Shift Differentials
  • $1.75/hr Night Differential, earned on eligible night hours, stacks on base rate.
  • $1.25/hr Weekend Differential, earned on eligible weekend hours, stacks on base rate.

Work Schedule: Flexible Hours/Days
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Trade or vocational school in diesel or gasoline engine repair preferred.
  • One or more years of relevant work experience in automotive and diesel mechanical repair is required
  • Must have the tools to service and perform minor repairs on Ford engines such as Ford V-10, 5.0L, Ford Ecoboost engines, and 7.3L V8.
