Job description

Amazon is seeking a motivated, creative, and mission-driven communications professional to support Amazon Leo. This is a unique opportunity to shape the comms strategy for one of Amazon's most ambitious new initiatives, and to have a positive, lasting impact on customers and communities around the world.
Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite internet network.

Its mission is to provide fast, reliable internet to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. The system is built around a constellation of thousands of satellites in orbit around the planet, and will serve a wide range of customers globally, from individual households and small businesses to large enterprise and government customers.
In your role, you will lead core consumer product communications for Amazon Leo.

You will be responsible for developing messaging and content, engaging directly with media and other key stakeholders, executing successful announcements and campaigns that span earned, owned, and social channels, and scaling programs for global audiences.
You will work closely with product and marketing -- as well as other cross-functional teams -- to shape this strategy. As a key advisor to the business, you must demonstrate excellent judgment, an ability to earn trust with various internal stakeholders, and a willingness to dive deep into complex topics.

You must also be able to clearly articulate ideas in both written and verbal communications, anticipate potential issues and headwinds for the business, and effectively advocate for decisions that protect the long-term interests of Amazon and its customers.
Along the way, you will have a chance to shape the long-term vision for one of Amazon's most exciting new ventures, and have a direct impact for tens of millions of customers around the world.
