Job description

Amazon MGM Studios is seeking a Development Coordinator to support the CLARCO (Chile, Argentina, Colombia) Originals Team. In this role, you will be integral to the day-to-day operations of the development slate, coordinating across internal teams and external creative partners to ensure projects move efficiently through the development pipeline. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong organizational skills, and has a genuine passion for storytelling and content development in the Spanish-language space.
Key job responsibilities
Coordinate schedules, development and organizational meetings, along with creative calls with producers across Chile, Argentina, and Colombia.
Manage the internal flow of information through pitch to development to production to post.
Serve as a liaison between the CLARCO development team and other Amazon MGM Studios departments (e.g., Production, Legal, Marketing, other creative teams) to facilitate smooth project progression.
Review incoming pitch materials, write detailed coverage, and provide creative recommendations to the development team to inform greenlight decisions.
Research and source emerging talent across Chile, Argentina, and Colombia, to help build a pipeline of diverse creative voices.
Create and maintain weekly development reports and internal tracking documents, keeping cross-functional teams informed on slate status and project milestones.
Monitor the creative landscape, tracking writers, directors, and industry trends relevant to the team's development strategy across the CLARCO territory.
Support ad hoc development initiatives and cross-team projects as directed by the Head of CLARCO Originals.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of studio or production company assistant, or 1+ years of creative executive experience
- Experience assessing industry talent and trends
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience handling confidential information
- Experience as an assistant in an unscripted department at an agency, studio or unscripted production company
- 2-4 Years working in an assistant or coordinator role in marketing, PR, or other departments at a major media company
- Fluent in Spanish and English

- Knowledge of digital video landscape

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
