Build the technical foundation powering conversational advertising across Amazon Devices.
Join Alexa Advertising to own critical infrastructure supporting conversational ads on Amazon devices. You'll build scalable systems processing billions of ad opportunities annually, delivering world-class advertising experiences to millions of customers.
This role offers hands-on technical ownership of conversational ad systems, real-time ad serving pipelines, and conversational AI integration. You'll work with talented engineers solving complex distributed systems challenges while directly impacting a business.
Key job responsibilities
- Build innovative customer experiences utilizing cloud services, backend technologies, and real-time streaming infrastructure
- Develop high-quality software within a dynamic, team-oriented Agile environment supporting billions of annual ad opportunities
- Collaborate with Product, Applied Science, and cross-functional engineering teams to define and deliver innovative advertising products
- Optimize ad serving latency, cost, and business metrics for conversational advertising at scale

You'll work alongside talented engineers designing sophisticated software solutions that power conversational advertising experiences across multiple endpoints. You'll tackle challenges like integrating ads into Alexa+ conversational experiences, building systems for interactive conversational ads that enable voice-driven customer actions, and optimizing ad delivery pipelines for targeting addressability and relevancy.
Your work will directly support initiatives to grow conversational advertiser base through generative AI-powered creative tools and expand conversational supply across new experiences.
