Job description

The Amazon Account Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing Sunny Health & Fitness’s Amazon marketplace business. This role will focus heavily on Amazon listing management, catalog optimization, content quality, sales performance, promotions, and overall marketplace growth.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing Amazon Seller Central and understands how to optimize product listings to improve search visibility, conversion rates, sales, and profitability. This person will work closely with the marketing, creative, product, inventory, and customer service teams to ensure Sunny’s Amazon presence is accurate, competitive, and optimized for growth.
Key Responsibilities
Amazon Account & Marketplace Management
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of Sunny Health & Fitness’s Amazon Seller Central account.
  • Monitor overall account performance, sales, traffic, conversion, and profitability.
  • Maintain Amazon account health and ensure compliance with Amazon policies and marketplace requirements.
  • Monitor account notifications, policy changes, suppressed listings, stranded inventory, and other account issues.
  • Identify and resolve Amazon operational and listing issues quickly.
Amazon Listing & Catalog Management
  • Create, update, and optimize Amazon product listings.
  • Ensure all product information is accurate, complete, and consistent across the Amazon catalog.
  • Conduct regular listing audits to identify missing information, errors, suppressed content, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage new product listings and product launches on Amazon.
  • Maintain and optimize existing ASINs to improve search visibility and conversion.
Amazon SEO & Conversion Optimization
  • Conduct keyword research and implement relevant keywords throughout Amazon listings.
  • Optimize product titles, bullet points, descriptions, backend keywords, and A+ Content based on Amazon SEO best practices.
  • Monitor keyword rankings and search visibility.
  • Analyze competitor listings, pricing, content, reviews, and positioning to identify opportunities.
  • Continuously test and improve listing content to increase traffic and conversion rates.
  • Develop strategies to improve organic ranking and product discoverability.
Sales & Performance Analysis
  • Monitor Amazon performance metrics.
  • Prepare regular reports and provide actionable insights based on Amazon performance data.
  • Identify underperforming ASINs and develop strategies to improve sales and conversion.
  • Analyze sales trends and marketplace data to identify growth opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor pricing and marketplace activity.
Amazon Promotions & Merchandising
  • Plan and execute Amazon promotions, coupons, deals, and other marketplace programs.
  • Manage promotional calendars and coordinate product promotions with internal marketing teams.
  • Monitor promotional performance and make adjustments based on results.
  • Support major Amazon sales events such as Prime Day and other seasonal promotional periods.
  • Ensure promotional pricing, inventory, and listing content are properly coordinated.
Inventory & Buy Box Coordination
  • Work closely with inventory, purchasing, and operations teams to monitor Amazon inventory levels.
  • Identify potential out-of-stock risks and communicate inventory needs proactively.
  • Monitor Buy Box performance and identify factors affecting Buy Box eligibility.
  • Help coordinate inventory availability with sales forecasts and promotional plans.
  • Monitor stranded inventory and fulfillment-related issues.
Reviews & Customer Experience
  • Monitor product ratings, reviews, and customer feedback on Amazon.
  • Identify recurring customer complaints and communicate trends to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Work with customer service and product teams to identify opportunities to improve product listings and customer experience.
  • Monitor listing content and product information to ensure customer expectations are accurately set.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with creative teams on product photography, infographics, videos, and A+ Content.
  • Work with marketing and advertising teams to align organic Amazon strategy with paid advertising efforts.
  • Partner with product and operations teams on new product launches, product information, pricing, and inventory.
  • Work with customer service teams to identify customer feedback and product-related issues.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure Amazon initiatives are executed accurately and on schedule.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-Commerce, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–4 years of hands-on Amazon marketplace experience, preferably managing Amazon Seller Central accounts.
  • Strong experience with Amazon Seller Central and Amazon catalog/listing management.
  • Experience creating and optimizing Amazon product listings and ASINs.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon SEO, keyword optimization, A+ Content, and conversion optimization.
  • Experience analyzing Amazon performance metrics and marketplace data.
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large amounts of data.
  • Experience with Amazon Brand Registry is a plus.
  • Experience with Amazon advertising platforms, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, or Sponsored Display, is a plus.
  • Experience with Amazon tools such as Brand Analytics, Search Query Performance, or similar Amazon reporting tools is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify listing errors and inconsistencies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple ASINs, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
