Overview

VTG is seeking a Software Developer for a 200+ FTE technical development program supporting the Sponsor’s Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM /ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes and Digital Policy Management. The Software Developer will work with a large team of developers, software engineers and data engineers.


What will you do?
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams for integrations and tasking delivery
  • Comfort and familiarity in maintaining legacy applications
  • Experience in modernization of legacy applications
  • Ability to write custom scripts to install and configure code in EC2 instances
  • Experience leveraging Amazon Web Services
  • Experience creating RESTful API
  • Experience with spring boot
  • Develop Java and Angular (Typescript)
  • Comfort and familiarity designing and utilizing custom ETL methodology
  • Strong communication, design, and documentation skills
  • Strong workflow and time management skills
  • Comfort and familiarity in unit testing, peer code review, and automated testing techniques like Selenium (create, edit, maintain, execute)
  • Work within the parameters of Agile & Scrum methodologies
  • Ability to methodically think through technical challenges in a collaborative team environment in order to provide technically sound solutions
