Does Amazon pay you to be a reviewer?

Amazon reviewers do not get paid for writing reviews; they share their opinions voluntarily. As an Amazon Reviewer, your main responsibilities include testing products you receive, carefully evaluating their features and performance, and writing clear, unbiased reviews based on your experiences. You'll spend time researching products, taking notes or photos, and ensuring your feedback complies with Amazon’s community guidelines. Reviews should be honest, thorough, and posted in a timely manner. Collaboration is usually limited, as most reviewing work is independent, but you may sometimes communicate with vendors, brands, or Amazon’s support team for clarifications. This role is ideal if you enjoy independent work, trying new products, and providing valuable insights to shoppers.

What is an Amazon Reviewer job?

An Amazon Reviewer is someone who evaluates and writes reviews about products sold on Amazon. Some reviewers purchase items independently, while others may receive free or discounted products in exchange for honest feedback. Amazon has strict guidelines to ensure reviews remain unbiased and authentic. Reviewers can influence potential buyers' decisions by sharing their experiences with products. However, fake or misleading reviews violate Amazon's policies and can result in penalties.

Objectivity, reliability, and time management are critical soft skills for consistently producing helpful and timely reviews. These skills ensure your feedback is trusted by consumers, complies with platform standards, and supports informed purchasing decisions for others.

Job description

Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.
The Copywriter brings fresh creative approaches and tactical solutions to the campaign workflow-from concept and messaging to final copy delivery. As the voice of Leo, you'll craft consistent, compelling narratives that guide customers, business partners, and government stakeholders through every touchpoint of their journey with Leo-whether that's a social post, product page, email campaign, event experience, or video script.
With a growing knowledge of the Amazon portfolio and Leo's unique positioning, you'll have a strong point of view on creative execution and collaborate closely across the team to deliver bar-raising brand experiences. You'll contribute to copy development on campaigns of varying complexity-sometimes supporting senior creatives on larger initiatives, other times driving the copywriting for small- to mid-sized executions with guidance from creative leadership. You'll also leverage generative AI tools to enhance creative workflows, using them to develop internal briefs, explore conceptual directions, and accelerate ideation processes.
Key job responsibilities
Voice of Leo Across the Customer Journey
- Execute Leo's brand voice and tone across all customer touchpoints-from first awareness through consideration, purchase, onboarding, and advocacy
- Ensure messaging consistency across the full spectrum of media: digital (web, social, display, email), video, experiential (events, activations), print, PR, and internal communications
- Adapt Leo's voice appropriately for consumer (B2C), business (B2B), and government (B2G) audiences while maintaining brand consistency
- Develop and maintain messaging frameworks and voice guidelines that scale across teams and channels
Creative Development
- Accountable for end-to-end copy development, from pitch to launch, on Leo's small- to mid-sized campaigns across B2C, B2B (AWS), and B2G audiences
- Articulate creative concepts and rationale internally and externally through growing communication skills and shared pitch presentations
- Address the strategy and client needs, as defined in the creative brief, through creative ideation and campaign development
- Consider Amazon Leo's brand tone and voice in creative ideation and execution across diverse audience segments and customer journey stages
Copy Excellence Across All Media and Touchpoints
- Produce original copy with great attention to narrative consistency, voice, and tone for all campaign deliverables across digital, video, experiential, print, and social channels
- Write compelling copy for the full customer journey: awareness campaigns, product detail pages, email nurture sequences, video scripts, event experiences, PR communications, and internal initiatives
- Ensure copy accuracy on all deliverables via ownership of campaign messaging style guides
- Translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives that resonate at every stage of the customer journey
Collaboration & Growth
- Collaborate with Design Technologists, Solutions Managers, Art Directors, and Creative Directors to vet tactical copy/creative across Amazon
- Partner with Product Marketing Management (PMM), Industrial Design, and cross-functional teams to ensure voice consistency across all customer touchpoints
Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
