Job description

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and organized Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily shipping, receiving, packaging, and warehouse operations. This position will be responsible for preparing domestic and international shipments, coordinating carriers and vendors, processing orders and returns, and ensuring materials are packaged, documented, and shipped accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and has strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately pack, label, and distribute parts, products, and equipment for domestic and international shipments.
  • Perform vacuum packing and crating of machines and equipment.
  • Process packaging orders and ensure critical orders are completed and shipped on time.
  • Complete pick ticket processes, pulling and preparing materials according to order requirements.
  • Coordinate daily shipments, ensuring items are properly packaged, labeled, documented, and ready for pickup.
  • Utilize ERP and shipping systems to generate shipping documents and create labels through UPS/FedEx platforms.
  • Ensure proper packaging of mixed merchandise for safe and secure delivery.
  • Verify shipment accuracy by weighing, measuring, and inspecting items against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Coordinate domestic and international machine shipments, including appropriate packaging and shipping documentation.
  • Arrange and coordinate freight shipments and carrier pickups.
  • Communicate and coordinate with daily carriers regarding pickups, deliveries, and shipment requirements.
  • Handle outside vendor service pickups and drop-offs.
  • Process and coordinate Amazon returns, ensuring returned materials are properly documented and handled.
  • Monitor and maintain adequate levels of shipping and packaging supplies.
  • Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing incoming materials.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to safely move materials and inventory.
  • Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
  • Ensure shipments comply with company procedures and applicable domestic/international shipping requirements.
  • Communicate with internal departments, vendors, carriers, and customers regarding shipping and receiving activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving area.
  • Perform other warehouse, shipping, receiving, and material-handling duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or material handling preferred.
  • Experience with UPS/FedEx shipping platforms preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP, inventory, and shipping software.
  • Experience with domestic and international shipping is a plus.
  • Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to regularly lift and move packages and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, and climb as needed.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment.
  • Ability to work safely in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
