Delivery Driver

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to customers within a designated area. You will ensure timely delivery of products, maintain high standards of customer service, and keep accurate records related to deliveries. This position will be a remote driver for the following areas: Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg and Sarasota/Bradenton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of Goods : Transport products from the warehouse or distribution center to customer locations in a timely manner.
  • Route Planning : Follow predefined routes or GPS directions while ensuring the most efficient and safest path is taken.
  • Customer Interaction : Provide excellent customer service during delivery, which includes greeting customers, handling any questions or concerns, and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Inventory Management : Verify the contents of delivery against orders and confirm that deliveries are accurate, complete, and in good condition.
  • Documentation : Maintain accurate delivery records, including delivery logs, receipts, and signatures, and submit required paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance : Ensure the delivery vehicle is kept clean, maintained, and in good working condition. Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor or fleet manager promptly.
  • Safety Compliance : Follow traffic laws, company safety protocols, and all applicable regulations while on the road.
  • Handling Returns : If applicable, collect return items from customers and manage the return process according to company procedures.
  • Problem Solving : Address any issues or delays in deliveries, such as road closures, product issues, or customer concerns, and work to resolve them quickly.
