Job description

Job Summary:
Deloitte is a leading consulting firm, and they are seeking a Senior Consultant in Security Architecture. In this role, you will help clients assess, design, and implement network security solutions across enterprise and cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
• Assessing network security architectures, controls, and configurations across on-premises and cloud environments
• Designing and implementing network security solutions, including firewalls, virtual private networks, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and segmentation controls
• Translating business, risk, and compliance requirements into technical security designs and implementation plans
• Supporting client workshops, security assessments, remediation planning, and project deliverables
• Coordinating with technical and business stakeholders to manage workstreams, track milestones, and report progress
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or another technical field
• 4+ years of experience in network security, cybersecurity engineering, or infrastructure security
• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, virtual private networks, and network segmentation controls
• 2+ years of experience securing Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform network environments
• 2+ years of experience with one or more of the following: Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Fortinet, or Check Point security platforms
• Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred:
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or Engineering
• One or more of the following certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Cloud Security Professional, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer, or Cisco Certified Network Professional Security
• Experience implementing zero trust architecture or secure access service edge solutions
• Experience supporting security assessments, remediation programs, or incident response activities
• Experience in consulting or other client-facing delivery environments
• Experience developing security standards, architecture diagrams, or technical design documentation
