Job description

The Flex Investigation & Offboarding (Flex I&O) team is looking for an Investigation Specialist II to join our team. In this role, you will lead comprehensive investigations into incidents involving our Flex Delivery Partners (DPs), ensuring fair and accurate outcomes that protect the Amazon Flex brand and our customers.
The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator and creative problem-solver with a passion for uncovering the truth. You will conduct meticulous investigations, analyze complex data using multiple tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver well-informed business decisions. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our investigations while ensuring compliance with established procedures and quality standards.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to upholding the highest standards of fairness and professionalism, we want you on our team. This role requires fluency, both written and verbal, in Japanese. This position is based in Tempe, Arizona at PHX12.
Key job responsibilities
-Adjudicate Delivery Partner incidents, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy in all findings
-Provide well-informed business decisions based on investigative outcomes
-Exhibit excellent individual problem-solving and analytical skills to review and investigate cases
-Demonstrate technical competence and self-motivation, thriving in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision
-Display flexibility by working within different queues and providing support as needed for overtime, deep dives, mentoring, translations, and escalations
-Ensure compliance with established procedures and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while achieving and maintaining high-quality and performance metrics
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Do you speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese, and have the ability to take direction in English without the use of a translator?
- Do you have 1+ years of fraud/risk investigations experience?
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Do you have experience handling customer escalations?

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
