Job description

A professional family of three in Tribeca is seeking a polished, highly experienced, and hands-on Executive Housekeeper to care for and maintain their 3,400 sq. ft. luxury apartment.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering five-star housekeeping standards while also helping the household run smoothly day to day. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, organized, discreet, and comfortable taking ownership of both the cleaning standards and the daily flow of the home.
This is a hands-on Executive Housekeeper position with light household management responsibilities, including inventory control, grocery shopping, vendor coordination, simple meal preparation, and daily household organization. The family does have a part-time house cleaner; however, the Executive Housekeeper will still be responsible for maintaining the home's overall standards, ensuring the household runs smoothly, and stepping in hands-on as needed. The family values someone who can maintain a spotless and well-organized home while also anticipating needs and supporting the household with professionalism and care.

Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
• Perform daily cleaning of all rooms to a high luxury standard.
• Maintain living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common spaces in spotless condition.
• Complete deep cleaning on a rotational basis.
• Conduct daily walkthroughs to identify anything that needs attention, repair, restocking, or organization.
• Take initiative with hands-on household tasks without needing constant direction.
• Manage family laundry, ironing, steaming, folding, and proper garment care.
• Maintain wardrobe organization, closets, linens, and seasonal clothing rotation.
• Maintain organization of closets, pantries, storage areas, kitchen systems, and household supplies.
• Track household inventory, including groceries, cleaning products, paper goods, laundry supplies, toiletries, and other essentials.
• Create and manage grocery and household supply lists.
• Restock items as needed to ensure the home remains fully supplied.
• Place orders through Amazon and other vendors as needed.
• Assist with simple, healthy meal preparation as requested.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, pantry organization, and grocery freshness.
• Support the family with light cooking and food preparation.
• Provide light child-related household support as needed.
• Accept deliveries, manage returns, and coordinate household errands efficiently.
• Grocery shop and pick up household items as needed.
• Coordinate with building staff, service providers, vendors, maintenance teams, and other household support.
• Schedule and oversee household repairs, services, and appointments when needed.
Requirements
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Executive Housekeeper in a private home or luxury residence.
• Strong hands-on housekeeping, deep cleaning, laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care skills.
• Experience working in high-end homes with luxury standards.
• Comfortable with grocery shopping, inventory control, vendor coordination, and household organization.
• Able to prepare breakfast and assist with simple cooking or meal prep.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to anticipate household needs.
• Professional, discreet, reliable, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable using basic household technology, apps, Amazon ordering, shared calendars, and smart-home systems.
• Fluent in English.
