Job description

Amazon MGM Studios' Consumer Products Licensing (CPL) team enables fans to discover and purchase products from their favorite Prime Video franchises - licensed merchandise, interactive games, and real-world experiences. We work with world-class partners such as LEGO, Mattel, and Epic Games across franchises including Wednesday, James Bond, and Fallout to shape how millions of fans experience iconic IP - not just on screen, but in their hands, homes, and lives. This team is in high-growth mode, investing in operational excellence, automation, and AI.

You will operate at the intersection of entertainment, retail, and technology, leveraging all of Amazon's services across Prime Video, retail, and Ads to create new consumer touchpoints - with real ownership from day one on a lean team where your work directly shapes franchise strategy and partner outcomes.
Key job responsibilities
-Execute licensing agreements across product categories (e.g., apparel, toys, home goods) managing 5-10 active titles
-Ensure contract compliance and drive performance against royalty and revenue targets
-Coordinate with legal, finance, and creative teams on deal terms, product approvals, and contract execution
-Identify category opportunities, evaluate new partners, and prepare business cases with financial projections and market data
-Coordinate product launches with marketing and content release schedules to maximize commercial impact
-Conduct competitive analysis of licensing programs at peer studios and identify emerging retail trends
Leverage AI tools and automation to improve workflows and reallocate time toward licensee pitching and negotiations
Maintain licensing databases and contract management systems (e.g., RightsLine, BrandComply) with current deal data
