Prime Video Playback is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to own and drive delivery for high-impact programs in the core playback technology to help users worldwide to enjoy live events, movies and TV shows on mobile devices, living room devices, and the web.
The Senior TPM role requires excellent leadership skills, strategic thinking, strong technical expertise, the ability to partner effectively across teams within and outside of Amazon, and the ability to manage high-impact projects

As a member of the team, you'll need to have the ability to understand the fundamentals of the latest video technology and what it takes to launch large scale video services and features that involve multiple teams within and outside of Prime Video. You will help evolve our architecture with your background in distributed cloud computing while innovating on video technology like encoding. You will drive future technical solutions that will impact how we run Prime Video worldwide.

You will also need to frequently engage business, product, and technology leaders and be a strong advocate for our customers. We're a high energy, fast growth business excited to have the opportunity to shape how video is consumed for years to come.

Champion and prioritize new product requirements and features for development
Identify short and long-term product opportunities, provide actionable recommendations and influence stakeholders to implement durable solutions.
Plan, execute, and monitor program and manage risks
Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges for our customers and validate new integration launches
A day in the life
You will own long-running programs to make Prime Video even more reliable for customers. In that capacity, you will directly own goals with visibility throughout (and beyond) Prime Video.
You will own the execution of projects to meet those goals, including communication to senior leadership and stakeholders. You will work with teams across Prime Video and throughout Amazon and AWS to influence organizational roadmaps and strategy.
You will drive a portfolio of programs and goals evolving how we playback live events, linear, and VOD content and work on ambiguous challenges.
