Position Responsibilities:
Work with peers and other teams on high-severity, active support issues, prioritizing mitigation while investigating root-cause fixes. Provide on-call support and act as point of escalation for high-severity issues. Aid in the development and testing of operational tools and AI that improve efficiency through automation. Create and maintain team-specific knowledge-base articles and operational and training documentation. Conduct customer notification and workflow coordination with follow-up to maintain service level agreements. Deliver live streaming content to a high standard globally. Deliver reports to senior leadership. Assist in the training of new support staff.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept four years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to a bachelor's degree and two years of experience. Must have two years of experience in the following skill(s): (1) scripting in modern programming languages; (2) troubleshooting and debugging technical systems and documenting findings; (3) agile/scrum or a related collaborative workflow; and (4) supporting a live streaming environment, including knowledge of video encoding and delivery, acquisition, codecs, adaptive bit rate video playback, common streaming protocols, and software support.
