Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for all budgetary, people development and operations objectives under their management. Responsible for all aspects of operation or functions at the site. Additional responsibilities include managing and leading a team of Operations and Area Managers, coaching and mentoring the team to ensure performance objectives are met, building positive employee relations and building leadership bench strength within the Fulfillment Center.
Position Requirements:
Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field and seven years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master's degree and three years of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): (1) direct management experience, including managing a salaried workforce in a manufacturing, production, or distribution environment; 2) experience working with performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean techniques; and 3) experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and termination. Domestic travel may be required up to 25% of the time.
