Amazon Air Finance is seeking an experienced and analytical Senior Finance Analyst to support the rapidly growing air freight business. In this role, you will partner with the Air Cargo, Global Fleet & Air Sourcing (GFAS), Network Planning, and other Amazon Air teams to scale the externalized revenue business.

This role will have heavy impact and high visibility to the long-term strategy for the business, and will require strong partnership with the Operations teams as well as Finance, Accounting, Product and Pricing. The role will require an individual to deep dive into business input drivers, dive into complex data pool, and use insights to influence business decisions. The role is ideally suited for a candidate who has demonstrated strong financial modeling skills and has the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly with finance and business leaders to influence strategic and tactical decisions.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive the Volume and Revenue forecasting processes for the organization including Annual Operating Plans, 3 year Strategic Plan, and Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews in collaboration with Sales, Revenue Management, Marketing.
- Educate business partners on financial and non-financial trade-offs, and make thoughtful judgement calls in ambiguous environments where data may be scarce or difficult to procure
- Build financial rate cards that help analyze profitability of customer deals and align to pricing strategy
- Analyze ROI of different programs/initiatives and generate actionable insights from large amounts of data
- Partner with senior business leaders and develop operational metrics and goal setting to help the team improve performance
- Identify opportunities to improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes
