As a Cloud Security Architect (Consultant) on the Cloud Cyber Risk team, you will be responsible for...

  • Supporting cloud cyber risk engagements across assessment, design, implementation, and post-implementation activities for client environments.
  • Assisting clients with cloud security architecture, configuration standards, and risk mitigation approaches across Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud.
  • Contributing to project workstreams, including technical assessments, solution designs, security recommendations, and implementation support.
  • Assisting with the implementation and optimization of cloud security technologies, including cloud native application protection platform, cloud security posture management, cloud workload protection platform, identity and access management, security monitoring, and DevSecOps controls.

Professionals in this practice work across industries to design and implement scalable cloud security solutions.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 2+ years of experience in cloud security, cybersecurity, technology risk, or technology consulting.
  • 1+ years of experience designing, assessing, or implementing security solutions in Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Oracle Cloud environments.
  • 1+ years of experience with cloud security architecture, control design, or cloud configuration standards.
  • 1+ years of experience with cloud native application protection platform, cloud security posture management, cloud workload protection platform, identity and access management, security monitoring, or DevSecOps controls.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, engineering, or another technical field.
  • Ability to travel 80%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

  • Experience in consulting or professional services environments.
  • Experience with enterprise cloud transformation or migration programs.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $82,600 - $162,800.
