Job description

Amazon Air's Centralized Load Planning team is looking for detail-oriented aviation professionals who
are passionate about operational safety and accuracy as we continue delivering smiles to Amazon
customers every day.
As a Centralized Load Planning (CLP) Agent, you will be directly responsible for the accuracy of the
information provided to Amazon's air carriers relating to aircraft loading. This includes aircraft weight
and balance calculations, Unit Load Device (ULD) container weights, and fuel load.
The CLP Agent will assign positions for all containerized, palletized, and loose outbound cargo and communicate any concerns to local gateway teams if adjustments are required

The CLP Agent will understand weight and balance theory and adhere to aircraft operator and manufacturer requirements.
Applicants are required to successfully pass all company initial certifications and maintain all required certifications during annual recurrent training in areas of load planning responsibilities.
This position requires strong communication with operational leaders, executive leaders, corporate
managers, technical product managers, airline carrier partner leadership, and third-party vendors.
Serving as a subject matter expert, the CLP Agent provides the CLP team with regulatory knowledge,
expertise, and practical experience in the areas of load planning, cargo buildup, and aircraft weight and
balance systems.
Key job responsibilities
- Deliver load planning guidance for complex, multi-flight operations while communicating container inventory, special loads, DG, and aircraft-specific instructions to gateways and stakeholders.
- Utilize advanced technical knowledge and judgement of load planning to navigate complex and ambiguous operational scenarios
- Communicate, provide direction and guidance to Gateway Operations Leaders to ensure aircraft load accuracy in accordance with the load plan.
- Provide mentorship to gateway operations as needed.
- Ensure creation/distribution of weight and balance calculations to flight crew members, be able to navigate complex scenarios with partner carrier flight operations/leadership.
- Utilize Amazon Air systems for overseeing load planning operations per assignment and provide operational improvements/designs to support teams

- Provide operational SME expertise to local gateways, NCC operations and carrier partners.
- Ensure accurate production of assigned load plan and manages workload to include review of planned payload, required weights, fuel, ULD types, loading needs of assigned location. .
