Position Responsibilities:
Investigate opportunities to develop and implement climate solutions for Amazon and Climate Pledge signatories across multiple sectors. Recruit companies to join the net-zero community through project development. Co-design and lead testing and prototyping of next generation climate solutions. Partner with Amazon teams, Climate Pledge signatories, entrepreneurs, think-tanks and academia as needed -considering outputs, cost, speed and efficacy. Produce compelling, well-written, data driven documents and reports that outline critical path milestones and detail progress, respectively. Lead external deep dive, in-person and engagements with customers to ensure needs are being met through the delivery process and solution.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Science, Technology, Policy, Business, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept seven years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Bachelor's degree and five years of experience. Must have three years of experience in the following skill(s): (1) expertise across at least one industry domain (agriculture, buildings, carbon free electricity, materials manufacturing or transportation logistics); (2) delivering global value chain solutions; and (3) public-private sector stakeholder management experience.
